Transcriptions
Musical notation gives us the raw material from which a performer reinvents the actual music. I believe that having a precise and clear musical score helps this creative process.
My personal interest in handwritten XV, XVI and XVII Century manuscripts and Early Music, as well as my attention to detail has paved the way to produce modern notation scores and instrumental parts, through the use of software like Sibelius and Dorico.
I have transcribed complete operas from handwritten manuscripts, concert pieces for smaller ensembles, and transposed scores to better fit a soloists register. A process that is completely interesting and fulfilling for me. Contact me for more information on musical score transcriptions.
